PRESIDENT LAYS WREATH TO MONUMENT TO S.ZORIG

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Wreaths have been laid to monument to late Zorig Sanjaasuren, a prominent politician and one of the pioneers of the Democratic revolution. This ceremony gathered on Tuesday the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj, the Premier N.Altankhuyag; Zorig's sister S.Oyun MP, others. “We traditionally lay wreaths to this monument to our Zorig who was brutally murdered this day in 1998. I always stand on a position to reveal this case,” the President said. S.Zorig was murdered on October 2 of 1998, the case is still being investigated. Zorig's sister Oyun was elected to his seat in the State Great Khural soon after his assassination. Later she served as Mongolia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, also founded the Civil Will Party.
