President meets Laotian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President Ts.Elbegdorj received Monday the Ambassador Extraordianry and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Mongolia Mr Bouhang Sayasanawo, in regard of his return home. The President expressed his high recognition for the contribution the Ambassador made to intensify the relations and cooperation of the two countries. The Ambassador Mr Sayasanawo responded with gratitude and expressed his satisfaction with the intensification of the mutual high-level visits in the recent years, mentioning the visit of Ms Pany Yathotu, the Chairman of National Assembly of the Lao PDR, to Mongolia in 2012. He also noted that the relations between Mongolia and Laos are developing in efficient ways, wished success in the further prosperity of those relations and conveyed the official invitation for the President to visit the Lao PDR. In response, the President said that he was fond of the opportunity to meet with Laotian leaders on the occasion of the 2012 ASEM Summit, and that he believes the Lao PDR will participate in ASEM Summit to be held in Ulaanbaatar with high-rank representatives. He also promised to pursue the works the two countries have agreed during visits and meetings, such as the cooperation in agricultural sector, and thanked for the invitation for visit. “Please convey my heartfelt greetings to the president of the Lao PDR. I wish success to the Laotian people. I wish you, Ambassador, a success and well-being” he added.
