PRESIDENT OPENED NAADAM FESTIVAL

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The National Great Festival dedicated to the 806th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and the 91st anniversary of the People's Revolution started at 11.00 am on July 11 on the Central Stadium in the UB city. The ceremony was officially opened by the President Ts.Elbegdorj. He greeted all Mongolians who were celebrating the festival in Mongolia and around the world, and the guests and wished them all the best. The State Head said this year's Naadam began successfully, bringing many good wishes and luck. Mongolia celebrates this year the 850th birth anniversary of Chingis Khaan, the elected by the nation State Great Khural and the city's Citizens Representative Khural launched their work, and Mongolians are awaiting the 30th Summer Olympic Games, he went on. "During the great Naadam we, the Mongolians, talk about good wishes and luck, take pride in our history, culture and traditions, and share our happiness with families, relatives and friends," the President stressed, and wished all participants of the Three Manly Games every success.
