PRESIDENT RECEIVES FEDERAL MINISTER ROSLER

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Being in Germany with the state visit, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj has exchanged views on the economic ties and the bilateral relations and cooperation with Philipp Rosler, the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology and Vice Chancellor of Germany. At this meeting held last weekend, Mr. Elbegdorj and the Federal Minister Mr. Rosler also talked about implementation of actions reflected in the intergovernmental agreement on the cooperation in mineral resources, industry and technological sectors, which was established during the official visit of Germany's Chancellor to Mongolia last year. They have expressed a mutual willingness to begin a real collaboration between the countries. The dignitaries have appreciated a successful organization of the first meetings of the Mongolia-Germany intergovernmental working group and of the Mongolia-Germany economic committee. “For Mongolia, Germany is one of the biggest donor countries and is an important economic and commercial partner in Europe. By the year 2011, 156 Germany-invested companies ran business in Mongolia,” the President said. After the meeting, an executive director of the “Erdenes Tavantolgoi” company B.Enebish, and a member of Deutsche Bank's Management Board Jurgen Fitschen signed a contract on IPO. Furthermore, a contract on supplying turbines has been inked by B.Enebish, and by M.Take, a director of the Siemens in charge of energy affairs. B.Khuder
