PRESIDENT RECEIVES GENERAL XU CAIHOU

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolia is satisfied with widening of the Mongolia-China partnership relations in all fields, and with deepening of the political trust and mutual understanding, said the President Ts.Elbegdorj. He sounded it on Thursday at a meeting with visiting Colonel-General Xu Caihou, a vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The President also expressed satisfaction with this visit and hoped it will contribute to the bilateral relations in the defense sector. "Establishing last year the strategic partnership relations between our countries was a vital step to make the ties progress. In recent years, mutual visits and consultative meetings have been regularizing, the collaboration has been boosting in training military officers in China," the President said. In turn, Xu Caihou said he had reached some agreements with the Defense Minister of Mongolia, and then conveyed to Ts.Elbegdorj a greeting from Hu Jintao, the PRC head and chairman of the Central Military Commission. The President told Xu Caihou to pass his greeting to PRC head and said he will meet him with at a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) expected in June in Beijing. B.Khuder
