PRESIDENT RECEIVES LEADERS OF PARTIES AND COALITION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj received on Thursday leaders of the political parties and coalition which have captured their seats at the State Great Khural. In accordance with the laws on the State Great Khural and on the procedure of parliamentary session, the President of Mongolia must set a date of parliamentary session and hold it under agreements with heads of the political parties or coalition with parliament seats. "You know agreeing means reporting. So, I inform you I intend to set the date of new parliament and start it on time in respect of the laws," he said. The parties' leaders agreed with the State Head to hold the parliamentary session in time, and expressed their willingness to attend the opening of the parliamentary session with newly elected members. Present at the meeting were N.Altankhuyag, the chairman of the Democratic Party; S.Batbold, the chairman of the of Mongolian People's Party; B.Erdenebat, the secretary-general of the DP; S.Oyun and S.Demberel, the chairpeople of the Civil Will-Green Party; Ch.Ulaan and S.Udval, authorities of the "Justice" joint coalition.
