PRESIDENT RECEIVES LOCAL JOURNALISTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Wednesday, the President Ts.Elbegdorj met countryside journalists. They talked about environment protection in aimags, justice in society and court reform. The journalists highlighted all difficulties they face in their job in localities and said they are eargerly awaiting an approval of a draft law on the media freedom initiated by the President. Initiated by the state head policies are greatly appreciated concerning licenses of mineral deposits, abolishing alcoholism, transferring authority to localities and supporting a civil participation, the journalists said. After the meeting, the journalists got acquainted with the great construction in Ulaanbaatar, met authorities of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Corruption Combating Agency, General Election Committee.
