PRESIDENT VISITS TIME MAGAZINE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Participating in the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, the State Head of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj visited on Tuesday the headquarters of the Time Magazine in New York, USA. Founded in 1923, the Time is the world's largest circulation weekly news magazine with a readership of twenty-five million, of which twenty million are in the US. It is widely regarded as one of the most popular magazines in history. Recently the magazine has been considering naming Mr Ts.Elbegdorj as one of the Three People of the year 2012. The President held a meeting with key people and editor-in-chief of the magazine as well as editors and journalists of the Sport Illustrated, and exchanging views with them on present political and economic situation in Mongolia, its mining sector, history and culture. The gathered asked in the President about his policy on combating a corruption and his speech delivered at the 67th session. After this, the State Head legged an office of the Wall Street Journal and gave an interview to it. B.Khuder
