PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION POLLS TO CLOSE AT 10PM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Preliminary results of the Presidential election 2017 will be projected through electronic visual display at the General Election Committee. The election polls will close at 10 PM throughout the country and each 1983 polling places will transmit the reports to General Election Committee’s server. Before transmission, the reports must be printed out to the observers. And once the reports are sent, the General Election Committee will reveal the results on screen, including the information of mobile ballot box votes. On condition that the polling places successfully transmit their reports on time, the preliminary result is planned to be disclosed at around 1AM. If not, the preliminary results of the Presidential election of Mongolia will be announced by tomorrow morning (June 27).
