PRIME MINISTER INSTRUCTS TO REINFORCE DISCIPLINE AND ORDER

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ As a continuation of working trips to western aimag, Prime Minister worked in Uvs aimag, where he laid wreaths on Marshal Yu.Tsedenbal, former leader of Mongolia, and held a meeting with staff of the aimag’s governor office, reported the Press Division of the Government on March 23.
At the meeting, the PM said, “To reduce unemployment, it needs to promote SMEs and private sector. Government will give supports of taxation and other policies. This government aims to solve matters that have been on talks for many years. Local authorities and officials need to contribute to it.”
He also urged to accomplish projects and actions reflected in directives and programs to implement the Government Action Plan 2016-2020 on time and reinforce disciplines, order and accountability and improve governance.
The aimag authorities requested the government support to connect the ger area with clean water and sewerage system, upgrade Borshoo border check-point into international status, establish enterprise of sea-buckthorn and freezing store, restore cropping of wheat and open a wool-processing plant. To develop infrastructure in ger area, it requires stretching 12.4km long thermal, 7.1 km pure water and 9 km sewage lines, for which it is estimated to need investment worth MNT19 billion.
The PM answered to resolve the requests as much as possible.
