PRIZES OF JAPAN'S FM AWARDED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Some people and organizations have been given the Awards named after Japan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of Japan in frames of the 40th anniversary of the Mongolia-Japan diplomatic relations.
At the ceremony, which took place on Monday in Japan's Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, the awarded became N.Nyam-Osor, a rector of the "Ikh zasag" university; Ch.Davaasuren, a head of the State Philharmonics; G.Yanjinlham, a leader of the "Tsagaan khus" society; and N.Khajidsuren, a director of "Orkhon" institute.
The award has been also given to organizations such as the Ikebana Association of Mongolia, the Kendama Association of Mongolia, Mongolia's Judo Federation, Mongolia's Kendo Federation, the Origami Association of Mongolia, the #23 secondary school of Darkhan city; and the Mongolian Children's Palace.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Mr Takenori Shimizu addressed the ceremony, underlining that the mutual understanding of the countries have been strengthening since 1990, and that the friendly relations have reached a high level. He emphasized an importance of ordinary people's contributions to the relations as well.
After his speech, Mr Shimizu gave the certificatem, named after Japan's Foreign Minister, to a Japanese language translator D.Tomorbaatar.
