Rodong Sinmun Calls for Stepping up All-Out Offensive

Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- Ryomyong Street built in the area of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, is a gift of loyalty the army and people presented to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and a precious result brought by the inexhaustible national power of socialist Korea. The editorial goes on: The construction of Ryomyong Street was a fierce battle to smash to pieces the imperialists and other hostile forces' brutal sanctions and scheme to get rid of precious everything of the Korean people and stamp out their right to existence, in the indomitable offensive spirit of Mt Paektu, the steadfast spirit of defending socialism. And it was a battle of creation based on self-reliance and self-development to bring the rosy future of a socialist power in which the people's dream and ideal come to reality. The completion of Ryomyong Street is a miraculous victory that could be made only by the Workers' Party of Korea devotedly serving the people and a great event that dealt heavy blows, more terrible than hundreds of nuclear bombs, at the heads of enemies. Ryomyong Street is a monumental edifice of the glorious Kim Jong Un's era demonstrating the dignity of Juche Korea and its strength to the full.
