Russian Deputy PM To Visit Indonesia

Jakarta, Feb 24 (Antara) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin is scheduled to visit Jakarta on February 25-26, to discuss bilateral cooperation, Indonesian Ambassador to Russia Djauhari Oratmangun stated here on Monday. "Deputy Rogozin is responsible for Russia`s strategic industry sector. He will meet Coordinating Minister for the Economy Hatta Radjasa on February 25. The deputy will bring along with him, 30-40 entrepreneurs from Russia," Djauhari elaborated. According to Djauhari, there are several agendas to be discussed by Deputy Rogozin and Coordinating Minister Hatta Radjasa namely investment, trade, energy, infrastructure, technology, tourism and education. As for the participation of the Russian entrepreneurs in Deputy Rogozin`s visit to Indonesia, they will meet their business counterparts during a meeting that will be held in Jakarta. Among the Russian entrepreneurs visiting Indonesia are those from the Alumina Rusal, which will invest in East Kalimantan`s Bauxite to aluminium processing unit, and Russian Railways, which has been investing in the construction of railway in East Kalimantan province. Other companies that will send their representatives to Indonesia are from Sukhoi producer and oil companies Gazprom and Lukoil. "We expect Indonesia-Russia`s trade to increase in the future," Djauhari added.
