S. Korean Authorities Accused of Interfering in DPRK-U.S. Issue

Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Friday carry a commentary written by Dr. Jo Nam Jin, a researcher on the south Korean issues, to denounce the south Korean authorities for wandering in the darkness while turning a deaf ear to the voices of the world heralding the changed world political atmosphere. The commentary says: Now the south Korean authorities say that another war should not be allowed on the Korean peninsula, sanctions against the north and dialogue with it are not the matter of priority, dialogue is possible if the north stops additional nuclear development and that the history of the "nuclear issue of the north showed that the first stage for settling the issue was opened" when sanctions and dialogue simultaneously go. They have no strength to "prevent a war" on the Korean peninsula as they are in the situation of colonial servant of the U.S. and they cannot fire even a bullet without approval of the master U.S., being deprived of the right to command the wartime operation. Their saying that sanctions against the north and dialogue with it are not the matter of priority and they should go together means one body simultaneously goes to the east and west. This is ridiculous enough to make even the boiled head of a cow provoke laughter. They regard sanctions and dialogue as means for "dismantlement of nukes." If they impertinently involve in the DPRK-U.S. issue to deal with the nuclear problem, they would get hurt themselves. They would be well advised to learn the way to understand the trend of the times without meddling in the matter. -0-
