S. Korean Military Gangsters' Reckless Provocations in West Sea of Korea

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- The south Korean military gangsters have gone all the more reckless in their military provocations in the waters of the DPRK side in the West Sea of Korea entering this month. On Sept. 6 alone, a speedboat belonging to the 2nd Fleet of the puppet Navy intruded into the waters of the DPRK side more than 4km from the extension of the military demarcation line southwest of Yonphyong Island at around 11:18 and other speedboats committed five similar military provocations in its wake. When the Korean People's Army (KPA) served repeated warnings to the intruding enemy speedboats to leave at once, the south Korean puppet military gangsters spouted a spate of sophism that the DPRK's fishing boats should stop their fishing operations in the waters of the DPRK side in a bid to justify their intrusion. Then they hastily took to flight afraid of the retaliatory action from the KPA Navy. These provocations can never be overlooked. Their ceaseless infiltration of speedboats into the waters of the DPRK side right after the close of the largest-ever Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drill for aggression reveals their sinister scenario to steadily push the situation on the Korean peninsula to the brink of a war. This is evidenced by the rapid increase in their intrusions into the waters of the DPRK side near Paekryong Island and Yonphyong Island in the West Sea of Korea from early in September. They infiltrated such boats three times into the waters of the DPRK side north of Paekryong Island and waters of the DPRK side southwest of Yonphyong Island on Sept. 2 and 3. Similar intrusions were deliberately made five times on Sept. 4 and 5. The military tension in the waters is being escalated to the most extreme phase due to the puppet military gangsters who are working hard to prompt the KPA to take a self-defensive action through escalation of military intrusions in the biggest hotspot waters in the West Sea of Korea and exploit the occasion for branding the KPA as "provocateur" and justifying their war hysteria against the DPRK. No one can predict when these provocations would spill over into military clashes. The KPA had already solemnly warned the puppet military gangsters not to resort to reckless military provocations. The puppet military gangsters of south Korea should not forget event a moment that they will have to pay a dear price for their extremely adventurous military provocations. -0-
