Salehi Departs For Egypt

Tehran, May 9, IRNA -- Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi departed for Egypt to attend foreign ministers meeting of member states of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in the port city of Sharm El-Sheikh. The 17th ministerial meeting of NAM will be held on May 9-10, 2012 in the presence of foreign ministers and representatives of 120 member states as well as 28 countries and international organizations as observers and a number of international and political characters as guests, including UN secretary general and current chairperson of the UN General Assembly. The meeting aims to prepare ground for NAM summit, which is to be held in September in Tehran./end
