SPEAKER MEETS CEO OF MARUBENI CORPORATION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker D.Demberel received on Wednesday a delegation headed by Mr. Fumiya Kokubu, the CEO of the Marubeni Corporation of Japan.
They exchanged views on a construction process of the Mongolia-Japan joint oil refinery to be erected in Darkhan-Uul aimag.
Mr. Kobuku underlined that the Marubeni Corporation is interested in the Mongolia's market and is maintaining a policy to enhance the collaboration with Mongolia. He added that the Corporation has set up a strategic committee in order to pay attention to the ties with Mongolia in making investments and supplying of techniques and equipment.
Mr. Kobuku also informed that the Corporation has established a joint company to supply mining equipment and machines to Mongolia and it is about to sign a contract on supplying facilities to Mongolia dedicated to construction of the oil refinery in Darkhan-Uul. The Corporation has willingness to make investments in the transportation, mining and infrastructure sectors.
In turn, the Speaker mentioned that Mongolia's economic development is reaching a chance to boost and Mongolia is focusing a matter of putting its mineral resources into economic circulation. He stressed that Mongolia always intends to utilize the latest techniques and technologies of Japan for making investments to the biggest works.
D.Demberel appreciated the willingness of the Japanese companies to make investments to the infrastructure of mining deposits, and wished that Japan would participate in exploitation of mineral deposits of coal and copper. He expressed a satisfaction with the construction course of the oil refinery, and hoped that this refinery will have high revenue.
