SPEAKER RECEIVED BY INDONESIA'S LEADER

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Speaker of Mongolia's parliament is confident that the current visit of Indonesia's President Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will deepen a mutual trust and understanding between the two countiers and will boost the cooperation. The Speaker Z.Enkhbold said it while being received on September 6 by the leader of Indonesia who is in Mongolia with the state visit. Mr Enkhbold wished Mr Yudhoyono a success in the visit and expressed satisfaction with a complete legal base to develop the relationship and cooperation between our countries. We have similar goals to reach in politics, economy and social sphere as our countries are in one region, have young democracy, and are developing, he noted. It is possible to share our lessons learned and to cooperate, he added. The Speaker spoke about the democracy and parliament of Mongolia, then congratulated Indonesia's President on successully eliminating a corruption, making transparent state organizations' activities, and providing the national unity in Indonesia. He said the most urgent issues of Mongolia are to cease a corruption, to make better the law implementation, and to deepen the law reform, and suggested that justice and law enforcement organizations of the two states work together. The Speaker said Mongolia wants to refine the mining sector's legal environment and to fairly distribute its benefits among the people, and asked the President of Indonesia how his country is doing in this sphere. "Our side is willing to send to Your country a group to study all related experience and to reflect ideas in the current laws," he added. He wants to establish ties between parliaments through the Mongolia-Indonesia friendship group to be formed soon and to run a cooperation, he said and promised to assist in every way the relationship and collaboration between our countries. In response, Mr Yudhoyono said he is glad to visit Mongolia. He congratulated Mongolia on its achievements in the democratic development and said his country is successful in dealing with corruption, and noted that opportunities exist to learn from each other and to share experience and achievements. Then Mr Yudhoyono talked about some processes taking place in Indonesia such as a preparation for amending the law on oil, an activation of oil research and exprolation, a creation of a fund for young generations and others. The President of Indonesia said their side is ready to share experience in refining a distribution of the benefits of the mining among people and cooperate in it, and to train the Mongolians. He said he fully supports the Speaker's views on developing the ties between the two states and their parliaments, and on cooperating in the mining. D.Enkhbileg
