SPEAKER RECEIVES THAILAND'S DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ People of Thailand want to travel Mongolia, so Thailand will consider opening a direct flight between Bangkok and Ulaanbaatar cities.
It was said by the visiting First Deputy Speaker House of Representatives of Thailand's parliament Mr Chareon Chankomol at a meeting with the Speaker of the State Great Khural on Tuesday. He also emphasized that Thailand is ready to export rice to Mongolia at reasonable price.
In response, the Speaker Z.Enkhbold promised to focus on this matter and to convey it to the Minister of Industry and Agriculture, and then said it is possible to study a possibility of opening the flight between the cities. He highlighted the official visit of Thailand's parliamentary delegation as an expression of active development of the bilateral relations at a new level.
Mr Chankomol passed to Z.Enkhbold an invitation from Somsak Kiatsuranont, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand and the President of the National Assembly, to visit Thailand.
Present at the meeting were L.Tsog, a Vice Speaker of parliament and head of the Mongolia-Thailand inter-parliamentary group; A.Bakei, a head of the Standing committee on state structure; Ts.Narantungalag, a head of the Parliamentary Office Section of External Relations and Cooperation; L.Lhagva, the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Thailand; and other officials.
The First Deputy Speaker House of Representatives is being accompanied by 14 members of the House.
