SPEAKER URGES PREPARATION FOR ELECTION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Tuesday, the Parliament Speaker D.Demberel received N.Luvsanjav, a head of the General Election Committee (GEC), and Ch.Sodnomtseren, the GEC's secretary. The Speaker received from them a report on a preparation for the parliamentary election which will run this year and obliged the GEC to organize the preparation more actively and to put control over implementation of decisions about setting up the electoral committees and sections. Other directions were given to them to install all devices of registering and counting voting papers, to accelerate trainings for the device operators, to propagandize the election law to voters, and to pay attention to ensuring the election law.
