SPEAKER VISITS PUBLIC TV AND RADIO

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A group, headed parliament Speaker D.Demberel, has visited the Mongolian National public radio and television. On December 22, the Speaker and accompanying him J.Sukhbaatar, the head of parliamentary Standing committee on state structure, and E.Bat-Uul MP met with the authority of the organization. It has been working with a public status since 2005, broadcasts independent and balanced information which reflects public rights and national features. It has been renewing techniques and equipment to transfer to digital technology in 2014. The MNPT broadcasts two channels, and Mongolia's national public radio /MNPR/--four channels. The second channel of the MNPT broadcasts every day 10-minute press information in Kazakh, Tuva and Buryat languages. In terms of the finance, the MNPTR generates its 48 percent.
