STANDING COMMITTEE BACKS APPOINTMENTS OF NEW AMBASSADORS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Tuesday, the parliamentary Standing committee on security and foreign policy discussed issues of appointing Mongolian ambassadors to foreign countries and on recalling the ambassadors from some countries.
A senior advisor to the President of Mongolia P.Tsagaan introduced to the committee a proposal on appointing new ambassadors.
All members of the Standing committee backed the two proposals. According to the first one, the State Head suggests appointing S.Khurelbaatar the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan, S.Bayaraa--to Republic of India, D.Delgarmaa--to Singapore, T.Janabazar--to Laos, and O.Davaasambuu--to Cuba.
By the second proposal, several ambassadors are to recalled--R.Jigjid from Japan, V.Enkhold from India, P.Gansukh from Singapore, T.Batbaatar from Laos, and Ya.Dorligjav from Cuba.
