STANDING COMMITTEE ON ECONOMY MEETS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Wednesday, the parliamentary Standing committee on economy backed a performance of the 2013 Basic Guidelines of Social-Economic Development and decided to present it to the State Great Khural (parliament). In addition to this, the committee discussed a draft project on strengthening the diagnostic and medical treatment center for the western region, which will be implemented under a soft-loan from the Kingdom of Belgium. Costing EUR 6.4 million, this project aims to improve professional skills of medical doctors and to provide people in the western region with diagnostic services. Proposals and conclusions from the Standing committee on economy will be submitted to the Standing committee on security and foreign policy.
