STANDING COMMITTEES REQUEST TO LEARN FROM CHINA’S EXPERIENCE ON AIR POLLUTION REDUCTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Heads of Parliamentary Standing Committees on Social Policy, Education, Culture and Science and on Environment and Agriculture, MP Yo.Baatarbileg and L.Eldev-Ochir met Ambassador of China to Mongolia Xing Haiming on January 30. Beginning the meeting, Head of the Standing Committee Yo.Baatarbileg expressed his gratitude to Government of China on expanding cooperation, rendering support in fields of society, education and health of Mongolia. Also he stated the aim of the meeting with the Ambassador is to exchange views on possibilities to cooperate in air pollution reduction and learn from China’s experience on how to reduce air pollution in a short period of time with state policy. Air pollution has become a pressing issue not only for the two countries but also at the global level. Hence, our Embassy is ready to share our experience to reduce air pollution in Ulaanbaatar city, said Ambassador Xing Haiming.
