STATE HEAD GIVES LECTURE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On September 21, the President Ts.Elbegdorj gave a lecture at the forum of the John F.Kennedy School of Government at the Harvard University. Organized by the School's Institution of Politics, this forum has gained in popularity to attract many outstanding politicians of the world including Presidents, Prime Ministers and prominent fighters for human rights and freedom. Beginning the forum, the Dean of the School David T.Ellwood introduced the President of Mongolia to the gathered, saying Mr Elbegdorj was one of the distinguished alumni of the School. "He has managed to exploit in reality his knowledge obtained from the School and has become a struggler for human rights, freedom and justice in his country," Mr Ellwood stressed. In his report, Ts.Elbegdorj mentioned about his works after graduating the School, and talked about the Democratic revolution in Mongolia, the present socio-economic amd political situation, challenges and difficulties the country is facing. His lecture has attracted many students, his former classmates and famous politicians such as George Papandreou, a former Prime Minister of Greece; Jamil Mahuad, a former President of Ecuador; professors and scholars of the School.
