Thais warned to take precautions in London
BANGKOK, Sept 16 (TNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is checking impacts on Thai people following underground bombing in London while the Thai embassy there advised Thai people to take precautions and check their routes before travel.
Makawadee Sumitmor, deputy spokesperson of the ministry, said the Thai embassy in London was finding out if the blast had any impact on Thai people.
Via its Facebook page, the embassy advised Thai people in London to take precautions and check their routes before travel as the British government closed the Parsons Green station of the District Line and its vicinity from Edgware Rode to Wimbledon. The embassy warned Thai citizens not to go to the area and to follow up situations at https://twitter.com/metpoliceuk.
Meanwhile, the Thai embassy in France told Thai people to take precautions and stay away from underground stations in Paris after an attack on a patrol soldier at the Châtelet train station in the morning of Sept 15.
The embassy advised Thai people to follow up relevant reports and information at www.thaiembassy.fr. (END)
