THIRD FORUM OF MONGOLIA-CHINA MEDIA COOPERATION BEGINS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In frames of cultural days of Chinese Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, the Third media forum of Mongolia and China began on Thursday in Ulaanbaatar. The forum titled “Cooperation and joint development” has brought together B.Galaarid, the president of the Unified Confederation of Mongolian Journalists (UCMJ); Bai Yuigan, a head of the Media Service of Inner Mongolian People's Government; Wang Xiaolong, the Ambassador of China to Mongolia; other officials. An opening speech was delivered by Mr Galaarid named “Present situation of journalism in Mongolia, further goals”. He emphasized that this forum is one of the measures showing the friendly ties between Mongolian and Chinese people, and pointed out the media sector plays an important role in developing and strengthening friendly relations of countries. He stressed that the Confederation is ready to make its efforts to boost the bilateral cooperation. After this, speeches were given by Mr Bai Yuigan and Mr Wang Xiaolong. Then, a member of the UCMJ's governing council and journalist U.Khurelbaatar gave the key report. Other reports are expected from Bai Yuigan and a Mongolian J.Batbaatar, a teacher of Mongolia's State University of Education.
