TOTAL INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the first nine months of 2012, the total industrial output increased by 93.6 billion MNT or 6.4 percent to 1,565.6 billon MNT (at 2005 constant prices) compared to same period of the previous year. This increase occurred due to 1.2-48.3 percent increases in mining and quarrying products such as molybdenum, with concentrate, copper concentrate with 35 percent, zincum concentrate, iron ore, and crude oil and 3.1 percent to 6.5 times increases in industrial main products of manufacturing sector such as soft drinks, kind of sausage, flour, fodder, bakery products, alcoholic beverage, carpet, knitted goods, metal steel, bread, bottled water, metal foundries, milk, beer, sawn wood, electric wire, briquette, plastering mortar, metal sleeper, and plank for floor.
