Trade law to be developed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet meeting last Saturday agreed to develop a law draft on trade. The draft will be further submitted to a parliamentary discussion. There are social and economic needs to develop this document in order to realize pledges of Mongolia to the World Trade Organization, to regulate, promote and develop trade activities in the nation, consider the Cabinet. In 2013, Mongolia traded with 135 countries, where the total external trade turnover reached USD 10.62 billion, of which exports made up USD 4.27 billion and imports – USD 6.35 billion, a statistics says.
