TRANSPARENT TENDER DISCUSSED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ "Reforms and Solutions -222" meeting Tuesday discussed a "Transparent Tender" project. At the meeting, the Premier N.Altankhuyag briefed on his Government’s plans to announce overall 301 transparent tenders with a total cost of 1.1 trillion togrog in 2014, with more public procurement to be done online. Giving some statistics about the tenders, he noted that, within this year 3,407 entities won government bids to realize projects with a total spending of 1.7 trillion togrog. He also underlined a new rule in the tender process that aims to blacklist those contractors who have incurred disapproval in their previous projects, in order to eliminate them from next tenders.
