TS.ELBEGDORJ MEETS HIGH DIGNITARIES IN LONDON

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ During the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, Her Majesty Elizabeth II, the Queen of the Great Britain, met Mongolia's President Ts.Elbegdorj. The State Head Ts.Elbegdorj congratulated Her Majesty on successfully hosting the 30th Olympic Games and then talked about the Mongolian athletes who are competing in the Games. Then the President has met with Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary-General of the United Nations; Jacques Rogge, the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC); and David Cameron, the Premier of Great Britain. He also met with the members of the British Royal Family and invited all of them to visit Mongolia--Charles, Prince of Wales; Prince William, Duke of Cambridge; Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge; and Prince Henry of Wales. Apart of it, Mongolia's leader met and shared views on the bilateral relations with Mr. Joachim Gauck, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany; Ms. Dilma Rousseff, the President of Brazil; Mr. Sauli Niinisto, the President of Finland; Mr. N.Nazarbayev, the President of Kazakhstan; Mr. Giorgio Napolitano, the President of Italy; Mr. D.Medvedev, the Prime Minister of Russia; Mr. Dai Bingguo, a member of the State Councilor of the People's Republic of China; Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Prime Minister of Turkey; Queen Sofia of Spain; and with Ms. Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the USA.
