Turkey is ready to respond to Syria’s any provocations

Azerbaijan, Baku, July 22 / Trend A. Taghiyeva / The Turkish Armed Forces are ready at any time to respond to all attacks and provocations from the Syrian side, the country's armed forces said on Monday. According to the information, the security measures will be strengthened in connection with the growing tension in the Syrian-Turkish border. Moreover, the control over Syrian citizens crossing the border and goods transported across the Turkish border will be strengthened. Last Wednesday, there were fierce clashes on the Turkish-Syrian border between the Syrian wing of the PKK terrorist organization and militants of "Jabhat Al-Nusra" extremist organization. Clashes between government forces and armed opposition have been ongoing in Syria for over two years. According to UN statistics, the total number of victims of the conflict exceeds 100,000 people.
