Turkey's deputy premier says Turkey narrows domestic movement possibilities of terrorist organization

ANKARA (A.A) - December 26, 2011 - Turkey's deputy prime minister said on Monday that Turkey was narrowing possibilities of terrorist organization to move easily across the country. Bulent Arinc said the government had implemented right strategies in recent months, and narrowed possibilities of the terrorist organization to move easily across the country. "Seeking a solution outside without cutting down domestic sources of terrorism cannot save us from this trouble," Arinc said during a dinner hosted in Ankara in honor of Turkish ambassadors all around the world. Arinc said Turkey was developing new policies for broader democracy and rights in order to counter terrorism. Deputy Prime minister Arinc also said the government's prior target was to re-write a constitution, and expressed belief that a constitution to be written with a social compromise and with participation of all political groups at parliament and all segments of the society would strengthen democracy in the country.
