Turkish PM Due In Tehran On Wednesday

Tehran, March 28, IRNA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Teyyip Erdogan will visit Iran as of Wednesday heading a high-ranking political-economic delegation, according to diplomatic sources at Turkish Embassy in Tehran. The sources told IRNA that Erdogan's entourage comprises ministers of foreign affaires, economy, energy, urban development and environment. Erdogan, who is currently visiting South Korea to attend the International Nuclear Security Conference, will leave Seoul for Tehran Tuesday. First Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi will officially welcome Erodgan upon his arrival in Tehran. While in Tehran, Erdogan will meet and confer with Rahimi, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and will attend a dinner banquet to be thrown in his honor on Wednesday night. The talks between Iranian and Turkish officials will revolve around bilateral relations, Middle East developments and nuclear issues.
