Turkish Red Crescent delivers nearly 250 tonnes of canned meat to Pakistan flood victims

ISLAMABAD (A.A) - 06.05.2011 - Turkish Red Crescent Society has delivered 232 tonnes of canned meat to flood-stricken Pakistan, the society said in a statement on Friday.
The food aid was distributed to 245 thousand flood-hit families in the eastern Punjab and the southern Sindh regions.  
The Turkish Red Crescent is one of international aid organization to respond to the Pakistani flood quickly and efficiently.
The society has over 50 staff working in Pakistan.
