Two candidates drop out of presidential race in Georgia

Georgia, Tbilisi, July 15 /Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / The number of presidential candidates registered at the Central Election Committee (CEC) of Georgia reduced by twice. According to the CEC, six candidates have been registered to date. Mikheil-Gela Saluashvili, Nestan Kirtadze, Mamuka Chokhonelidze, Nikoloz Gorgijanidze who were nominated by the initative group, as well as Labour Party leader Shalva Natelashvili, the leader of the Christian Democratic Movement Giorgi Targamadze will participate in the election. Tariel Khvedelidze and Giorgi Gakhokiya, who were nominated by the initiative group, were deregistered due to irregularities found in the presented documentation.
