TWO FM HOLD OFFICIAL TALKS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Official talks ran on Wednesday in Ulaanbaatar between L.Bold, the Foreign Minister of Mongolia, and his Australian counterpart Mr Bob Carr. L.Bold expressed satisfaction with this official visit being paid in a scope of the 40th anniversary of the Mongolia-Australia diplomatic relations, and underlined that Mongolia attaches a great importance to widening of the relations and cooperation with Australia, an important partner of Mongolia in Asia-Pacific region. In turn, Mr Carr emphasized an importance of opening the General Consulate of Australia in Ulaanbaatar that will strengthen the bilateral relations and cooperation. He said the Australian side decided to augment scholarships for Mongolian students to study in Australia.
