UAE Federal Supreme Court sentences Arab national to five years in jail for promoting Daesh's ideology

ABU DHABI, 1st February, 2016 (WAM) -- The State Security District of the Federal Supreme Court yesterday sentenced Arab national (K.F.M) to five years in jail and fined him Dh 1 million on charges of creating and managing an account on social media platform Twitter and disseminating information promoting Daesh's ideology despite his knowledge of its terrorist goals. The Court, presided over by judge Mohammed Al Tunaiji, also found the Arab defendant guilty of posting two video clips of landmarks in one of the emirates, coupled with provocative songs for Daesh.
