UAE participates in Arab Focal Points meeting at UN's Alliance of Civilisations

CAIRO, 15th December, 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE took part in the Arab Focal Points Meeting at the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) at the Arab League Secretariat General in Cairo yesterday. Jassem Mohammed Al Ali, Minister Plenipotentiary at the International Organisations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, represented the UAE in the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Samia Bibars, Head of Culture and Dialogue at the Arab League, said that the implementation of programmes under the Arab common strategy for Alliance of Civilizations is well under way.
