UB DELEGATION IS VISITING ERLIAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by B.Baatarzorig, the first deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, started on Tuesday a working visit to Erlian town of China. On the first day of the visit, Mr. Baatarzorig held a meeting with Bao Tsungmin, a head of Erlian. The deputy Mayor thanked Erlian city's authorities for supporting the Mongolians in living and studying in Erlian. He underlined an importance of developing the cooperation between the UB city and Erlian in many fields such as the infrastructure and green parks, and stressed that it is possible to realize proposals of Erlian's head. In turn, Erlian city's head requested Mr. Baatarzorig to give a permission to make direct flights between Ulaanbaatar and Erlian. The two sides also discussed matters such as constructing a paved-road between the UB city and Erlian, establishing an economic zone and a representative of Erlian in Ulaanbaatar, and founding pedagogical schools in Erlian. After the meeting, the UB delegation visited Erlian city's airport, logistic service railways and a hospital. As of today, some 1,000 Mongolians are living and studying in Erlian. B.Khuder
