UB MAYOR VISITS LONDON

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The UB city Mayor and the governor of Ulaanbaatar E.Bat-Uul is paying an official visit to London of the United Kingdom these days. He has been running meetings with high officials, has already participated in "Mongolia-London" business forum. On September 26 he presented plans and current frameworks in a scope of the development perspectives of Ulaanbaatar and had the gathered discussed them. At a meeting with the Mayor of London Boris Johnson it was said that a cooperation is possible in fire security, in providing the citizens with healthy and secure environment, and in reflecting London’s practices in making Ulaanbaatar a tourism center. On the matter of establishing an international financial center in Ulaanbaatar, the Mayor has met with officials from “The City UK” financial service company and Fiona Woolf, the Lord Mayor of financial district of London. The sides have also shared opinions on developing the financial relations between the two cities.
