Vahidi: Iran Will Give Crushing Response To Any Adventurism

Tehran, Nov 9, IRNA – Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said on Tuesday that the Iranian armed forces are in full combat readiness and will give a crushing response to those daring to attack the country. He made the remark in a special ceremony for launching of new gunboats delivered to border guards on Kish Island. Powerful Iranian forces comprising IRGC, army and police force are closely monitoring the movements of alien forces in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, he said. The US tries to promote Iranophobia to offer a dangerous image of Iran in a bid to attain its sinister goals, he said. All countries of the region call for withdrawal of alien forcess, he said adding that there is no doubt that the will of nations will prevail in the near future. Countries of the region through unity and solidarity can help restore durable security to the region, he said. The Islamic Republic of Iran spares no efforts to maintain security in the region in order to bring more welfare, comfort and development for those nations severely harmed by presence of aliens in the region, Vahidi said./end
