VICE FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS HIS COUNTERPART FROM PHILIPPINES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ There is a big opportunity to activate the ties between Mongolia and the Philippines, said Vice Foreign Minister D.Gankhuyag at a meeting on Thursday with Ms. Laura Del Rosario, the Philippines Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Economic Relations. The Vice Minister D.Gankhuyag has put forward a proposal to activate the cooperation between the Foreign Ministries to expand the ties between business organizations and businessmen and to develop the bilateral collaboration at regional and international arenas. In turn, Ms. Rosario said the Philippines wants to develop the relations and cooperation with Mongolia at trade and commercial sectors, and to collaborate in preparing professionals and protecting people's interests at an international level. The sides shared views on celebrating the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations next year, running high-level talks and organizing mutual visits at the Foreign Ministry level in frames of the anniversary.
