WAR VETERANS RECEIVE APARTMENTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor, the Ministry of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development, and the Defense Ministry have finished granting apartments to war veterans. The action was initiated by the President. A survey shows that 1,620 veterans have received apartments depending on the wars and ages. On occasion of the 87th anniversary of the Independence Day, the Minister of Labor T.Gandi presented on Monday keys to apartments to 90 veterans who participated in armed clashes that took places between 1940 and 1948.
