The President Of The Republic Assures The Kuwaiti Ambassador Of The Need To Strengthen And Develop Bilateral Relations In All Fields

Baghdad / NINA /- The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received, at the Baghdad Palace today, Monday, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj.

A presidential statement stated that during the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples, where the President of the Republic stressed the strong relations that unite the two countries, and the need to work to strengthen and develop them in the political, economic, commercial and cultural fields in a way that achieves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples and enhances security and stability throughout the region.

For his part, Ambassador Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj expressed Kuwait's support for the security and stability of Iraq and the well-being of its citizens, stressing his country's aspiration to strengthen the existing relations between the two countries in many fields and in a manner that achieves the mutual interests of the two peoples./ End
