Qatar Exxonmobil Open: Auger Aims For Title

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - Canadian tennis player Felix Auger confirmed that he will seek his first coronation in Doha, expressing his happiness at participating in the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2023 for men, for the first time, pointing out that it is always important for a player to get to know new places. In a statement on Monday, Auger confirmed that he takes part in all tournaments equally with the same goals and ambition, and that he deals with each match individually. The Qatar ExxonMobil Open for men's draw prevented the Canadian player from competing in the first round, therefore, he will join on Wednesday, having been ranked second in the tournament. Auger gathered four titles in his career so far, ranking 8th internationally until yesterday, when he fell to the 9th place in the latest ranking issued today by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Auger added that he will try to win his first match and take it from there, stressing his ability to win this type of tournament. He added that his performance is gradually improving year after year, which reflects on his performance during his international classification, seeking to continue his progress.
