Qatar Participates in Preparatory Committee at Ministerial Level of GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority Meeting

Salalah, September 07 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 5th meeting of the Permanent Preparatory Committee at the Ministerial Level of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by a delegation chaired by HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari represented the State of Qatar at the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Their Excellencies Ministers of Economy and Finance at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. During the meeting, several topics related to strengthening the role of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority were discussed. In addition, Their Excellencies members of the committee discussed the initiatives and projects included in the work program of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority to achieve economic unity by 2025, including completing the remaining topics of the customs union and the GCC common market.
