Qatar Participates in Hannover Messe 2023

Doha, April 14 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participates in Hannover International Industrial Exhibition (Messe 2023), due to be held between April 17-21 in Hannover, Germany.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said, in a statement on Friday, that the State of Qatar's pavilion features a number of government agencies and the private sector companies, including the MoCI, Qatar Investment Promotion Agency (IPA), Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA), Qatar Science and Technology Park, Qatar Financial Center and Qatar Chamber, in addition to a number of private companies such as Doha Cables Company, Azm for Projects Development (plastic and glass), Innovation Company (3D printing in educational and industrial projects), Al Shabib Battery Factory, and Dala Holding Group.
The participating entities in Qatar pavilion are set to showcase the most prominent Qatari initiatives, projects, services and products, promising investment opportunities, incentives and privileges available to investors and businessmen to enter the country's various investment sectors.
During the exhibition, the leading Qatari industries and the latest technologies and technological developments in the industrial sector in the country will be highlighted with the aim of exchanging expertise and experiences, opening the way for creating tangible partnerships between Qatari and international companies, and learning about the most prominent international experiences and the great technical development in the industrial sector.
Relatedly, the Qatari entities will discuss, during their participation in the exhibition, the advantages of the investment environment in the State of Qatar, and will also shed light on the laws and legislation that have been approved to stimulate domestic and foreign investment, including the law regulating the investment of non-Qatari capital in economic activity, and the law regulating partnership between the public and private sectors in addition to displaying the incentives and advantages offered to investors, including the exemption of invested foreign capital from income tax for a period of up to ten years for specific investment projects in many sectors, exemption from customs taxes and fees on importing equipment and raw materials, services that are provided to investors to facilitate procedures related to investment applications and establishing companies.
Hannover Messe is the world's leading trade fair for industrial technology. It attracts some of the world's major industrial and technology companies. (QNA)
