Qatar Qualify for 33 U18 Basketball World Cup Quarter-finals

Budapest, September 02 (QNA) - Qatar team booked a place in the quarterfinals of the 33 U18 Basketball World Cup, which is being held over five days in Hungary. Its competitions conclude on Sunday.
The team, consisting of Azzam Abuisneenah, Fahd Mohammed Al Ojan, Hamad Yassin and Moustapha Ndao, qualified for the quarterfinals after their victory today over Tunisia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the last two rounds of the group stage.
In the quarterfinals tomorrow, Qatar will meet with France, and the German team will face their Egyptian counterpart. (QNA)
