Qatar Strongly Condemns Armed Group's Storming of Saudi Cultural Attaché Building in Sudan

 

 

Doha, May 03 (QNA) - The State of Qatar strongly condemned the storming of the Saudi Cultural Attaché building in the Republic of the Sudan by an armed group that vandalized equipment and cameras, seized some property in the building, and disrupted its systems and servers, stressing the need to provide protection for diplomatic missions, and to prosecute the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the State of Qatar's position calling for an immediate halt to the fighting in Sudan, exercising maximum restraint, resorting to the voice of reason, giving priority to the public interest, and sparing civilians the consequences of the fighting.

Also, the Ministry expressed Qatar's aspiration for all parties to pursue dialogue and peaceful ways to overcome differences. (QNA)
